A large section, encompassing many, but not all of the dwarf species. It may be that this Section is not entirely homogeneous especially with some species seemingly closely allied to the Aleuritia section. In the past this section has been split into two subsections: Bella and Eu-Minutissimae, distinguished by the density of hairs in the corolla-throat. Species within the section are often (but not always) solitary, with a long corolla tube (2-3x), emarginate flower lobes, and a capsule that approximately equals the calyx.
