See the reference paper for more details about the revision of the species in Section Bullatae. Primula henrici is a cushion forming perennial, growing on rocks, usually limestone, in dry situations. This species may be yellow, pink or white (aging to pink) and has been shown in the UK (previous to 2014) under the names "P. bracteata" and "P. dubernardiana". Leaves are dimorphic, blade elliptic to oblong or oblanceolate, apex rounded, base attenuate to cuneate, often recurved at the margin, pubescent to articulate hairy above, glandular hairy below, farinose or efarinose. Petiole of summer leaves 1-1.5X the blade, of winter leaves 0.5-1X the blade. Scape is obsolete or to 2.5cm, with 1-6 flowers.
